He is the author of Presidential Seclusion: The Power of Camp David (Prometheus Books, 2025), an inside look at how American presidents have used the retreat to think, decide, and lead since FDR. His writing has appeared in USNI Proceedings, The Presbyterian Outlook, Presbyterians Today, and Faith & Leadership. A frequent speaker on presidential history, military chaplaincy, and faith-based leadership, Ferguson has appeared on C-SPAN and numerous podcasts.
